We have some news about Shake The Lake. Although the event is still on, and Saturday August 19th is coming up fast, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to change up the event to a bit more of a casual/relaxed day. No tickets will be required to attend!
The day will start with a 5$ caeser bar special from 10-1 at Cove's Landing where everyone can meet up and depart at their leisure. Then, instead of set stops, the boating day will be up to you. We'd encourage everyone to meet up for lunch at Harbour House and Sandbar and then make their way back to Cove's Landing for a fun party.
The party will feature special displays from local vendors like Bayside Brewery, Landshark, Sprucewood Winery, Crafty Elk, Molson Brewery. There will be live entertainment all day and the night will be capped off by the concert from Big Shiny Toons starting at 7.
Instead of a traditional poker run, at the party starting at 5:30 the Lions clubs will be offering poker hands for a 50$ buy in per hand. The top 3 poker hands for the night will receive a share of 50% of the pot.
All ticketholders have been sent an email with refund details and can elect to take the refund in full OR if you elect to not take a refund, each registered ticket holder will get 3 poker hands and a bonus ticket.
Although we're disappointed the event isn't happening exactly as we planned, we're still excited about a fun day on the water and an awesome party with friends. Thanks again for your support, we hope to see you at Cove's Landing on August 19th!
